I deeply apologize for my long absence. This is partly because I became busy with work, and party because there weren't much submissions to the archive as of late. Still, new people who had recently joined the group are starting to perk things up again, and I certainly hope we get to see more submissions in the future. *^^*

There was no fanfic updates today, mainly because there weren't really enough to merit an "update". However, the results of the YUAFF Annual Awards 2002 had been posted, and hopefully a more complete set of pages about these fanfics would come up real soon!

Happy New Year, guys!!!

There are some new fanfics up today, and a lot of new fanarts. Best of all, the results are in, and a few days from now, the winners of the YUAFF Awards 2002 will be posted! *^^*

Did you notice anything different? You would, if you've paid attention to how the display of fanfics at both the "Author" and the "Genre" pages are coded. They're now changed, from manual HTML to JavaScript. This is actually only a test, until the new webpage design comes up. Let's hope it passes!

On to other news, the fics has been decided, and the voting can now begin! So go to the "Awards" section now and cast your votes!

It was anniversary time again, and the Second YUAFF Annual Awards is now taking place. Nomination season is almost over, and we're about to place our votes. Which story will be the Fanfic of the Year this time? It's up to you, dear members, to decide!

Ooookay... there were no new fanfics submitted between this update and the last, but suprisingly there had been a huge amount of fanarts submitted. And with me finally deciding to get to work on the Profiles and Links section, I decided that I might as well do some updates. Be prepared for a major change soon. My co-archivist Chibi is working on something that would make our lives easier, and I *may* do a change of design in lieu of that. *^^*

So much for monthly updates. I went oversees with my family for a while, so I wasn't able to do anything for the past few weeks. There aren't much fics to be uploaded, though, so I suppose it's good that I still waited. *^^*

What's this? A regulation of monthly updates? Kidding... Actually, I'm doing an update now for I don't know when I'll be able to update anytime soon... Thesis defense is about to come up this month (shudders involuntarily), and this is the only free time I can find.

Anyway, there isn't much in terms of updates, but enjoy them just the same! *^^*

Jay: Happy Holidays, everyone! It has certainly been a difficult year for this archivist, as aside from lack of time, I had tons of computer troubles, as well as the transfer from NBCI to Tripod (too bad... I really liked NBCI). I suppose everyone at the YUAFFML has been quite busy as well, as the fanfic submittions had slowed down until Christmas vacation began.

Anyway, please enjoy the new fanfics and fanarts for the year! And the fics nomiated for the YUAFF Awards are up! Go check them out, and vote at Cecille's site!!!

Wow!!! The big day has finally arrived!! And the archive is reborn with a new look! This archivist just really wanted a new design, but it's YUAFFML's anniversary, so I guess you can say that it's part of the big celebration! Anyway, enjoy the new stories for this update, and make sure to check out the much awaited YUAFF awards section!

Jay: I can't believe this! I accidentally placed "2000" instead of "2001" at the "last updated" lines of both the main and the new stories pages! Gomen, gomen!! Anyway, we have an extra special guest for today's new stories - say hello to Panzer, the first ever non-ML member who contributed to this archive! (applause, applause) Actually, I already asked several non-ML authors, too, but he did it willingly... thank you so much for your courage, and I apologize for not writing privately to say so, for I only realized it while I was updating now!

Anyway, enjoy the new stories in this growing archive!

Jay: With the continuously growing amount of fics entering the ML, I had to resort to a small change with regards to the "New Stories" page - everything is entered single spaced instead of the double like it used to. Other than that, it's the only noticable change, unless of course, everybody noticed that the site revamped last update from what it used to look like before that.

My apologies to Veronica and Alvanson So. It was Vero who wrote "Sidelines," not Alvanson.

In other news, a new page might be added to the archive in the next update. The page will contain some information with regards to the authors in the ML who had contributed their fanfics to the archive.

Also, please welcome my new archive assistant, Chibi-imp!

ML members, let me make this statement. Don't take advantage of your membership, please. Just because we're all members, it doesn't mean you can escape consequences with regards to your fanfic submissions. Intiendes?

Jay: Gomen nasai for the late update! The server for the archive had become pretty unsteady again lately. I sure hope this passes by pretty quick!

I hope everybody enjoys the new stories uploaded this week. I gave the ML members a little lee-way - Vero's "In Memories of You" should have been up only on the next update, but I uploaded it anyway because of the extra time I had waiting for the Nbci server to go up again.

Don't forget to write to the authors and tell them of your comments and constructive criticisms!

Jay: I have to admit, I was a little upset with the reaction of the mailing list's members with regards to this archive. Though I am happy now that everyone is submitting fanfics, please complete the heading I was asking for, as I really need those information. Without it, I'm forced to guess, and what I will place may not agree with the information you want to see online. Please be a little more considerate, and keep track of that 70 characters per line instruction, okay? It will only take a few minutes off your time to fulfill these requirements. Other than that, like the moderator, I'm happy that the ML has continuously grown. Let's hope this development continues.
